Planning the Ceremony

I 'll make planning of the ceremony a simple and easy process. To begin, we will meet and share a coffee to get a sense of who you are as a couple. From this, I will discover your story to craft your bespoke ceremony.

I will also take care of all the paperwork to make the journey stress and fuss free.

There will be two meetings and as many phone calls and emails as needed to smooth your way to the big day.

The Ceremony

When the nuptials day arrives, I will be your guide and MC to gently usher you into wedded bliss. You and your guests will share your ceremony and celebrate your joining.

I will then invite you to the signing of the wedding certificates then before the ink dries I will reveal you to the world as a married couple!

Meet Stephen

I’m Stephen Whittaker, a Melbourne-based marriage celebrant with a background that’s probably a little different from your average celebrant.

I’ve spent much of my working life in hospitality, acting and dealing with people — which means I’m comfortable with a microphone, I can read a room, and very little frightens me!

My approach to weddings is simple: the ceremony belongs to you. It can be romantic, funny, traditional, unconventional, short and sweet, or a bit of everything.

My job is to make sure you feel relaxed, your guests feel included and, most importantly you have the day of your dreams.
